Gasket Mica Sheet
Insulac GHT is a gasket made from particularly heat-resistant natural mica. The outstanding thermoactive sealing behavior (from around 1000 °C) is achieved through a specially developed treatment. The materialʼs expansion ratio actively counteracts any loss of surface pressure, which in turn guarantees the tightness and stability that the gasket needs for sealing even extreme conditions.
Mica gasket comes in multiple forms:-
(1) Reinforced with Stainless Steel - which is a premium grade for higher pressures.
(2) Semi Flexible Rigid. The best mica for you depends on your application.
Applications:
Mica gaskets are used in the automotive sector, gas turbines, gas and oil burners, heat exchangers and in other flange connections
